Independent Authors' Special Interest Group

The ISTC is a professional association, based in the UK, representing technical authors, illustrators, and other specialists in the field of scientific and technical communication.

The ISTC Independent Authors' Special Interest Group has been formed by freelance members of the ISTC, with the following aims:

Sharing job and contract information;
Sharing business skills;
Sharing technical knowledge;
Provision of opportunities for informal contact.
